Salesforce Makes Agentforce Free for Some Customers

Salesforce is expanding the reach of its Agentforce platform, bringing new AI capabilities directly into its Free, Starter, and Pro Suites for small businesses.

The update introduces built-in AI functionality within the Salesforce environments used by startups and growing teams, aiming to help users work more efficiently with their customer data. It also marks another step in Salesforce’s broader push to embed AI more deeply across its CRM products.

Agentforce AI Features Now Available in Salesforce Suites

There are now several Agentforce-powered capabilities designed to help small teams work more efficiently inside Salesforce. These tools are built directly into Salesforce Suites, allowing users to access AI functionality without installing additional apps or integrations.

AI Record Summaries

One of the new capabilities allows users to generate instant summaries of CRM records, saving users from clicking through multiple fields, activities, or notes. You can now quickly surface the most relevant information about an account, opportunity, or support case.

These summaries highlight key details such as recent activity, deal status, potential risks, and recommended next steps, giving teams a faster way to understand where a customer relationship stands before a meeting or follow-up.

AI-Generated Email Drafts

Salesforce is also introducing a tool that enables users to generate draft emails directly from within the CRM. Using customer data and past interactions stored in Salesforce, Agentforce can produce personalized follow-up messages in seconds.

Users can start with templates or provide their own prompts to guide the AI, which then generates a ready-to-edit response.

The idea here is to help teams respond more quickly to prospects and customers while maintaining context from previous conversations and interactions stored in Salesforce.

The Employee Agent

Starter and Pro Suite users will also be able to activate the Employee Agent – a conversational AI assistant embedded within the Salesforce interface.

The Employee Agent allows users to interact with CRM data through natural language prompts. Teams can ask the agent to retrieve information, summarize records, draft communications, or log activities without manually navigating the system.

With conversational commands, Salesforce aims to make it easier for teams to access and update customer info as part of their daily workflows.

AI Across Sales, Service, and Marketing

The Agentforce features are designed to work across different parts of Salesforce Suites, including sales, service, and marketing workflows.

Because the tools are embedded directly within the CRM environment, users can access insights and take action on customer information without switching between multiple apps.

Salesforce says this approach is intended to help teams act on customer context more quickly while keeping their data and workflows in one place.

Final Thoughts

With Agentforce capabilities now included in Free, Starter, and Pro Suites, Salesforce is extending its AI tools to smaller organizations and early-stage teams.

As Agentforce continues to roll out across the platform, these additions give small businesses earlier exposure to the AI features that Salesforce is positioning as a core part of its CRM ecosystem.
